Our Team

Inspired by her children and a whole lot of love, Kate Bowen founded Petit Peony in August 2014. After teaching herself how to sew, and finding great joy in pairing fabrics, the brand steadily grew over the years; from Etsy to an online store and, eventually, being sold in over 100 boutiques and major retailers nationwide.

In May 2018, the Bowen family's world was forever changed. Georgia Claire Bowen suffered a rare cardiac arrest birth and received a life-saving heart transplant at just four months old. It was at that very moment that Petit Peony's mission evolved.

In 2019, Bowen and her team launched 'The Georgie,' a hospital garment designed to enhance the patient and family healing experience. In 2020, the Bowen family founded the Georgia Claire Bowen Foundation to give back to the medical community that saved Georgia's life.

Kate is also the CEO & Founder of GCB Medical Supply. She graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a BS in Business Administration and Management.

Donnelly works closely with team members across all functions, both within Petit Peony and GCB Medical Supply, and leads both company’s strategy and customer engagement.

She joined the Petit Peony in June of 2018, before transitioning into her role at GCB Medical Supply, as well. Prior to GCB, Kaitlyn worked at the TJX companies, holding multiple positions in planning and buying. 

Kaitlyn graduated from Bryant University in 2012, where she studied Supply Chain Management.

In February 2022, Griggs joined the Petit Peony team as Vice President of Brand Development. Previously, Griggs held the positions of Women’s Editor (2014-18) and Women’s Director (2018-2021) at Inside Lacrosse magazine. In addition to her work at IL, Halley also served as a women's lacrosse analyst and sideline reporter for ESPN and the NCAA. Before her time at Inside Lacrosse, Griggs worked in SHADOW PR’s hospitality and events divisions, as well as Dan Klores Communication’s sports business group.

A 2010 graduate of Syracuse University, Halley was a four-time All-America selection and four-year letter winner on the women’s lacrosse team.

Griggs considers herself winner of the family lottery, having looked up to her cousin, Petit Peony’s founder Kate Bowen, for her entire life. Halley has seen firsthand the magic of imagination and expression through a child’s eyes and has loved fully immersing herself into the charm, nostalgia and colorful hues of Petit Peony’s playful prints and classic designs. 

Kane manages all day-to-day operations at Petit Peony, while also serving as GCB Medical Supply's Vice President of Operations, as well.

Katie received her BA in History from Roanoke College and her M.Ed. from Lesley University.
