Georgia Bowen and her journey to good health, the peach project

print released after a child who’s story continues
to inspire us to persevere and advance the
landscape of pediatric health,

Georgia’s Peaches
We were unaware of Georgia’s heart disease until she was unexpectedly born in cardiac arrest. We started calling her our sweet Georgia Peach instantly. It is no coincidence that a peach is a heart shaped fruit and the name Georgia means Farmer, tiller of soil. Since the day Georgia was born she has left no stone unturned, and has persevered through obstacles that were determined to be nearly impossible.
